Ridin'

Not us. Image from Flickr.

"Wanna go for a ride?" asked my daughter.

"Yes!" I struggled not to jump up and down squealing like a little girl. My daughter wants to go for a bike ride with me! Yay!

I couldn't find my inhaler, but went anyway. We made it 7 miles with no problem. She outpaced me. I wonder if it would have been the other way around had I used my inhaler before we left. The last time I tried without medicating myself first, I made it less than a mile. My asthma is improving. Hooray again!

P.S. Apparently there was a naked bike ride recently, which I discovered searching for a photo on Flickr. There may be permanent vision (and psychological) damage...

A naked bike ride sounds awfully uncomfortable! I'm glad your asthma is improving!

As an asthma sufferer myself, I totally understand that's a cause for celebration! Yay! :)

Yikes!! I'm having some disturbing mental images at the thought of a naked bike ride!

Glad the asthma is better. Hopefully Hawaii will be very good for it.

That is so cool - riding bikes with your daughter!

Only another mother can understand a need to bond with the kid(s). :)

So nice that your daughter would initiate a bike ride. I'm sure it warmed your heart.

Naked bike rides? Really?

It's nice when our kids want to be with us!

My twisted sence of humour suggests your daughter may have hidden the inhaler to ensure victory... Nah!

aw! who cares if she paced you, I'm glad you jumped at the opportunity to do a cool activity like that with your daughter- go you! Also, every year in Portland we have a naked bike ride... it's a sight for sore eyes (actually it's a sore sight for eyes) but I can never not look at it, so weird! Maybe it was a Portland picture.

A naked bike ride does not sound like the most comfy thing.

You did better than I would have. And I can't imagine a naked bike ride as being all that fun.
