Exchanging Pics

I used to post lots of pics of myself on another blog.  I enjoyed the attention at first.  I went in the complete opposite direction with this one.

I also used to send seductive pictures to men when they asked.  I never sent any to Wyoming.  When he said he was sending pics I would tell him to keep it PG.  When the conversation started to get intimate, I'd shut him down immediately.  For two years.  He says he never knew if any affection would be welcome.  He didn't know if I was interested in him like that.  Guess I overdid it.  After two years I finally sent a few sexy, but still PG-13 pics.  The above is one of them.  Sorry guys, you don't get to see the rest.

After I sent them I thought, "Maybe I should have put some makeup on.  Or done something with my hair."  I've gotten so used to taking photos without doing either that I just didn't even think about it.  Oops...

I've also told him I'm very interested in taking him up on that rommate offer, if he's serious.  I have 13 years experience in import/export and he's on an island where everything has to be shipped in.  I'll pay 2 months rent before I move in (more if they ask).  I want that room no matter what happens with us.  I'm not chasing a guy, I'm chasing a career opportunity.  I know people aren't going to see it that way, though.  I'm going to get a lot of flack...

To my mind there are a few problems with the net where it concerns 'real' people.
The posting of photos of self or especially family lead the viewer into a false mind space. One where the person posting disappears.
It's kinda like the missiles going off before the first gulf war while we were watching it on the TV. Eventually, and very quickly we forgot that there were people at the other end. And what we were seeing was not a firework display but the opening of a War.
Or take Lindsay Lohan, she was a reasonably good child actor that was having difficulty getting adult rolls for all thought her a child. So she decided to exit a motorcar with her bare undercarriage on display proving if there was any doubt she was full grown of body if not of mind. However, in that action she ceased to be a credible actor and became a body part in the focus of the viewer. It has gone to the point that she is now going the road of most child actors with booze and drugs and she cannot rise sympathy.
If I were you I would remove that photo. It isn't really necessary. We take a picture of you from your words.
All are wrong of course, but that hardly matters.
If you think this is a bit preachy, I don't care. :-)

It's your world Jen, and we're here for the ride no matter where it takes us. Some may not agree with your choice of path..but in the long run it's your life, your path and we're with you no matter what.
Hope it works for you, and if it does..it works for me too!

Business opportunity knocking at your door. Go for it! :-)

As for the photos, your body belongs to you first and foremost.

Greetings from London.

I'll toss in my (unsolicited) two cents here and say that I think the picture is great. It's subtle. Plus, due to the angle, it would be hard to match the photo up with you in real life.

I have some family pictures on my blog, but they're either of me, or me with my husband. Where I'm cautious is with my children. Yes, they show up on the blog, but only from the back. I figure as an adult I can take whatever risks there may be on the web, but my kids are another matter entirely.

Plus I doubt they really want their friends to read about that spider farts conversation... hee.

I say go for it! If I had an opportunity to move to Hawaii, I'd be there in a heartbeat! Good luck!

I'll have to agree too ... Pictures like that - not supposed to be posted online.

Regarding Hawaii, go for it if you can. :)

All I can say is that I trust you that you know what is good and bad for you.

That's a creative shot, btw :-)

How do you get away with living a daring life and manage to keep it away from your seventeen year old daughter? You told me that tell us only half of what's going on, so the rest must be even spicier. :)

Well, I guess the blog world is here to speak the truth. From experience I found telling truth to be very hard because it hurts you when people disagree.(goes both ways)
But you speak the truth because you want or are seeking answers I guess.I always respected truth because so few people have the courage to tell it and then we can go into a whole philosophy of the existence of truth etc.. lol

Well, this is not a visit but a move.
To look for a job,you just require a visit.
I would say find out how much the rent will cost and then look on line and see how much getting a place for yourself for a month would cost. Maybe you do not have to move in with anyone.I know there are some nice condos you can rent quite cheap and if you wait a bit till school ends, the university of Hawaii has apartments available for very cheap and you can bring your own friends with you to split the costs two beds per room, two rooms, kitchen.plus a cafeteria which sells great buffet food.
It's never good to sell yourself short.
Have faith to do the right thing for yourself.
