Tired

Maybe the appeal of posting daily has worn off.  I can't think of anything to say and my list of blog ideas doesn't look promising today.  I need to get caught up on reading anyway, starting with the people that comment on mine.  You guys are my FAVORITE.  Thank you!

I gave up attempting to post daily years ago--now I'm glad to get 2 posts a week. I'll have to put you on my blogroll so I can see when you post.

Yes - daily posting is quite a challenge. I need to comment more too - I read you regularly and should comment more! Like your yawning figure thing on your post - no idea what the technical term is!!

As you know I only post once or twice a week. It gives me more time to read other people's blogs as well as get all the other stuff I have to do done!

I appreciate your honesty. This is your blog - do with it what you will!

I used to blog more than I do now but now I try to only write something when i have something worth saying. Sometimes I think I posted crap just to put something on for that day.

Less is more, is my new motto. :D

I can't think of a comment either. Damn

@sage: It will still be pretty frequent - probably almost every day. I was going back and posting what I had been too busy doing when I skipped a day. I might not continue doing that.

@Kate: Is emoticon a technical term? I found it by searching "yawning smiley" on Photobucket...lots of cool stuff there...

@Rebecca S.: Reading other blogs is half the fun. The plan was for it to be a sort of diary...but it is an effort to post every day.

@LL Cool Joe: Sometimes when I think I'm posting crap I get lots of comments. When I think I'm posting something interesting and put a lot of effort into it, I get nothing. Go figure.

@UberGrumpy: I love your sense of humor!

Posting daily is a lofty aspiration for sure. It has become a challenge for me too. I have begun to struggle with a bit of writer's block. Recently I have decided to write a book which has completely dried up the creative vibe altogether. I am trying to muscle through it to get this book at the very least a page past the Forward. Please don't keep your posts too far apart, as I look forward to them. Funny you bring this up today, because my post from last night is almost the same topic. Must be in the air, or perhaps it's the time of year. Let's get through it together shall we?

@John: Do you go on creative binges where you can't write fast enough to keep up with your thoughts...and then they dry up and leave you unable to write anything at all?
