Haircuts, Hats and Hampers

I didn't buy any new clothes for my date.  Whether it's a friendly date or something else, it's still a chance to go out and have some fun.  I did get my hair done (it needed a trimming anyway) and bought some new accessories - earrings, a bracelet, and a hat.  I love hats.  I probably have more hats than I do shoes.  I won't wear the hat unless it's very cold tonight.

Me in my new hat:

I had a small moment of panic when I couldn't find the pants I want to wear.  I finally found them at the bottom of the hamper.  I'm washing them now.  Yes, I know I should already have these things done.  I could promise to become more organized in the future, but I'd be lying.

Me and some of my hats...

I agree with Gayle. You look adorable in hats and sunglasses. We all have our 'thing' that we love to wear. Mine is whatever makes me look skinniest.

It is never good to put ones head into the photocopier when one wants to take a mug-shot.
But it looks cute, shapewise.

Nice hat!

Have fun! I always wear hats too, but it's because of thinning hair (that's probably an understatement). At least it's snowing and cold enough now for me to go from a cap to my favorite stetson.

@SquirrelQueen: Thank you. It was fun.

@gayle: I had it in my purse and pulled it out when we walked from the theater to a restaurant. He said I was "stylin'". You just need to find the right hat.

@Bubbie: Black is great for slimming. Mine are functional, not just because I think I'm cute. I spend a lot of time outdoors and need to keep the sun off or keep my ears warm.

@Vince: Now you tell me. The cover bumped my head, the light blinded me, I smashed into the wall and tripped over some yellow tape that said, "Watch your step."

@Tammy: Thanks.

@Sage: You guys worry more than you need to about your hair. Just give up and shave it already. My Wyoming crush and Poker Guy are both bald.

You have a pretty face and you're in shape - hats or no hats.
Those assets should be big points out there in the dating world. :)

I'm a hat person, too. You look very pretty in your new one, I might add! Keeping my fingers crossed for the date!

@Pearl: My kind of girl. Thanks for visiting my blog!

@Anita: It may help, but it's not enough for the guys worth having.

@Rebecca S.: The date went pretty well. I'll update you guys soon.

Love the hats too! I'm a cap wearer. You'll never see me without one though. If I travel I take at least 20 with me. :D

@LL Cool Joe: You win. I travel with 2 or 3 at the most.

Ahh you and hats...some folks have the look to be "hat people," and others don't. You're a hat person.

Thanks for using that beach pic! I love shooting pics, and it doesn't get much better than the feeling I get when people use pics I shot because they like them.

@Tallshag: I was so happy I had that hat on the beach. It was HOT!
