Making Plans

I received a text from Poker Guy today:  "Thinking bout you.... And Vegas.... And Louisiana...."  He's been waiting all this time for a firm response from me.  We still hadn't made actual plans, just talked about going.

I called and told him ok, I'm going to make reservations for Louisiana at a hotel near the casino for the day after Christmas.  He said that's fine if I want to make the reservation but he's paying for the room.  So, should I reserve one room or two?  We've been together at three poker parties, on two bike rides, at Ren Fest, and to the show.  Is this our second date or our eighth?  Does it even matter?

I made a reservation for one room with two beds.

Yes, I know I overthink everything.

That sounds like a good compromise - keeps your options open! :) I never would've thought of that...

well hopefully he does not know about this blog, for one. And it might be little harm putting a single room on your Amex, it does not need to be used. Remember you are Texan, you put two girths on a saddle.

Think it sounds like a good option. Let us know what happens!

I agree with Ryan. :) And also with Vince! Are you sure he doesn't know about this blog? Because if he does it would probably look like some teenager stuff to him .. :))

@Rachel Cotterill: Keeping my options open indeed...that's the plan.

@Vince: No, he does not know about this blog. My friends and family don't know about this blog, either, so they can't tell him.

@Kate: Will do.

@Ryan: It's two queen beds. There's plenty of room if we decide we don't need both.

@Poppy: I feel like a silly teenager. Posting my craziness on this blog keeps me from spouting it to him...

That's great. I hope one bed turns out to be redundant.... if that's the way it goes. Hooray.

It is funny how reading a new blog is just like a relationship. I don't know what you are referring to in this post, but as time goes on I will learn things that will make me familiar with you. Weird, I have gone through this like 200 times! lol

I find myself wondering what he'd think knowing this is being discussed... he'd probably laugh, I would.

@Kate: I don't know what I'm hoping yet. We'll see how it goes.

@buffalodick: Thanks for returning the visit. Well at least you can still make it. That's something.

@Christiejolu: Me, too. I'll let you know when I know.

@gayle: That's what I have to keep reminding myself. Just enjoy now and don't worry so much about what if...

@otin: I have a few new faces. I'll have to start linking to past posts for anyone wanting to catch up.

@sage: Whether we blog or discuss with our girlfriends...it's being discussed.

Sounds like fun, but I agree it's good plan. That way your options are open :).

Have lot's of fun!

If you want to sew you'll have to enter the giveaway I just put up. The purse wasn't part of it so no worries ... LOL ;)
