New Toy

I bought a new toy and completely lost track of time playing with it.  I now have a geocaching GPS and discovered there are at least 20 hidden within a mile of my apartment.  I went to http://www.geocaching.com/ to get hints, descriptions, etc.  I downloaded the info and hopefully I'll feel well enough to get outside and start hunting tomorrow.  Fun!  (It was cheaper at Target.)

Enjoy--I've yet to get a GPS except for the car and I seldom use it.

I've heard these are very good and read loads of great reviews, but I've never tried it myself.
My new toy is a Wii Dance, and I love it!

Good for you--show us the cool stuff you find--and don't forget to take something weird to put in to make us all prod!!!

@Jingle: Thanks! Hope you had a fantastic Friday as well.

@Brian Miller: The logs are full of reports from people caching with their kids.

@Kelly: I'll probably take it everywhere now. I may go to Galveston this weekend and plan on downloading some caches...

@buffalodick: It is fun!

@sage: I use the one in my car all the time. I'm always having to meet up with BCOers at places I've never been.

@Alice in Wonderland: I've heard about the Wii and never tried it. Maybe they'll set up a display at Best Buy and I can embarrass my daughter.

@John McElveen: What about the tiny soaps and shampoo bottles I've been stealing from hotels?

@Jack69: So far it has been a ball.

Reminds me of getting lost once in pouring rain, only to find the home an hour later - lucky as never before of the time spend.
Wishing you to find whatever you search for.
Please have a wonderful Sunday.

@John McElveen: They have to find the cache first. I actually thought about getting some of those colorful rocks by the bag that the kids like so much. I see a lot of people are caching with their children.

@athens: It's sometimes fun to get caught in the rain.
