Demolition Derby

Roz Kelly, On The Road

Image from Flickr.

It took me an hour and a half to drive to Galveston this morning, and three hours to drive back this evening.  I counted 4 wrecks, one of them major.  Did I forget about a holiday?  I remembered my daughter had to drive the same road to get home and started worrying.  I had to call to make sure she got home ok.

I'm exhausted.  I'm going to have to wait to visit your blogs until tomorrow.  Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend.

I always meet heavy traffic going home every Friday after. The usual 2-hour drive becomes 3 and a half to four.

I hope you get a good rest.

I feel for you; living in Southern California, I totally understand traffic and the effect of accidents on traffic flow, etc. It is very stressful especially when you consider loved ones also traveling such routes; hope you got a good night's sleep and that you are restful today

Wishing you always a safe road ahead. And before starting to write about the way people drive over here, one-ways upside down, over red lights etc., I'd like to wish you a wonderful Tuesday.
