Today's word: aperture. Darren Rowse does a much better job of explaining it than I ever could in his post http://digital-photography-school.com/aperture.
For this Macro Monday, I practiced using Av mode. I set the aperture, and the camera determines the shutter speed.
I'm out of auto mode! Woohoo!

I never think of Darren Rowse as a photographer. I heard him speak (about blogging) at a blogging conference I went to in October and was surprised to hear him talk about his photography blog. I'm going to have to start following him for tips on photography! Lovely photo!
Very pretty! Nice colour.
Very nice pic. The slower you take the pic, the deeper will be the depth of field so play with the speed as well.
