Blast from the Past

This one is mine.  I took it in Yellowstone last year.

Remember my Wyoming crush?  He apparently remembers me.  I just got a message from him.  He's newly single, but he's still 1000 miles away.  *sigh*  Oh, well.  We can be friends.  Maybe I'll see him again if I decide to add Yellowstone to my road trip this summer.  My heart did skip a beat when I saw his name. Am I capable of not getting too attached?

It would be nice to have someone to see Yellowstone with, at the very least.

Thanks for visiting my blog. I like your diary.

Ahhh, the real big Q. Are you picking those that are beyond a 1000miles. Not just out of State, but a timezone or two away.
Ha ha, I just remembered a Chris Rock joke about two timezone totty.
Anyhoos, I'm projecting, the last woman I had feelings for lived in Belgium and works crew on Arctic and Antarctic. So only home twice a year for a little over a month.

I tried a long distance relationship once, it was about 1000 miles too. Might as well been a million miles, disaster!! (good luck though)

@gayle: I have a very hard time with that but don't want to become one of those people that never trusts anyone. I'll have to take my chances.

@Brian Miller: The plan is to spend the month of July traveling.

@Ronda Laveen: It is always nice to have friends along the way. Thanks for returning the visit.

@Vince: If I could actually control whether I developed feelings I would never choose someone so far away. I have no control over that, it seems. Wyoming is at least one time zone away.

@Tempo: I haven't had much luck with them so far. But then, I haven't had much luck with the short distance relationships lately, either.

@Poisonn Amour: That is good advice. I wish I had that figured out when I was 17.

I love that pic!

I think we all become somewhat attached to people in our lives.

Girl, I don't see how you would be able to fit a guy in your already busy life, but if you think you can than go for it. It can't hurt to put Yellowstone on your list, even if it doesn't work out, that place is awesome!

@Heather: I don't have time for idiots. I would make time for the right guy.
