It looks like my Hawaii connection might fall through.  I can't go until July and I think he wanted me to go sooner.  He doesn't know what his circumstances will be in July.  *Sob*

Since when have I needed a man to take me to Hawaii...or Vegas...or anywhere?  I was planning to visit national parks this summer...Hawaii does have at least one...

such a pity. In the States has Hawaii retained that zing. For at one point, which seemed to end with Magnum PI, it had draw even from here.

Awwww, something will happen more exciting. But for now a study of and a trips to National parks is a great way to see the country, and study the USA history all in one. We have been to many and love them. We loved the one in your country, Big Ben Country.

NOte says'your comment was published' no it wasn't hahaha!
So here goes again.
Awwww something better will come along, it always does. Touring some Nat'l parks is a good idea. We love them. Also we liked Big Bend, in your neck of the woods.

There are some awesome national parks out there -- some of the smaller ones like Zion and Bryce in the southwest are amazing, and not as high-traffic either.

Whatever you choose, enjoy!

Hawaii would be so fun! I've always wanted to go there. :)

No boy needs to take you anywhere...and there are TONS of national parks to go skipping through...

If a trip isn't happening that just means something better is going to come around, right? Hawaii must be a magical place because my son can't wait to go back there.

Girl, what a site!! I mean, it's so stunning but oh so deadly... you don't see that combo very often. But great, great photo! I'm amazed.

@Vince: I don't know of many people who wouldn't like to see Hawaii. It's very expensive to get there, though.

@Jack69: It was teasing you. It posted both comments. I haven't been to Big Bend yet. I'll have to correct that soon.

@Amanda: I think I'm hitting Grand Canyon and Arches, which are pretty close to Bryce and Zion. Maybe I'll end up at all 4...even if I just drive through a couple.

@Kimberly Franklin: Hawaii is fun! I've seen two of the islands. I need to get back and see the others.

@Maria: I need to stop getting so excited every time a guy says he'll take me somewhere and just make arrangements myself, it's true.

@Rebecca S: I hope it means something better is in the works. Magical is a good word. It's amazing.

@Brian Miller: I have a parks pass. Every weekend is free (or already paid for).

@Jen: Me, too. I want to see it in person...not too close up...that's what zoom lenses are for.

Yeah you don't need a man to go! Go and maybe you will find a cool guy to hang with when you are there!

Jen said...

@Christiejolu: I know I don't need him, but it sure would be nice if I could have him. I guess I'll just go back to drooling over his pictures.

Oh, I hate volcanos! Europeans are totally pi**ed off because of this volcano things. I probably won't be able to go to Liverpool this Saturday, but I'll survive that. My friend's couldn't go to the worlds to Orlando and compete. :(

National parks are great, though ... :)

I've never been to Hawaii, but always thought it would be a great place to visit! Plenty of great National Parks closer, though. For that matter...lots of great State Parks, too!

@Blaize: I love tags and awards, thank you! I'm not always prompt in posting them. :(

@Poppy: Kilauea has been continuously spewing lava since 1987. Maybe longer. It hasn't wreaked havoc with airlines as far as I know. I hope that ash over Europe dissipates soon and doesn't ruin too many more vacations.

@Kelly: I've been exploring a few state parks, too. There are some very nice ones.

Where I live sure ain't Hawaii, and I dunno if I'd pass for a crush of yours...but there is a National Park close by and you have a place to stay of your road trip goes east rather than west.

Wishing you a wonderful Wednesday.

@buffalodick: Maybe I'll run a marathon in Michigan one day. After meeting the Florida swamp mosquitoes and surviving, there is no insect that frightens me...

@John McElveen: I love new followers! Link away.

@Poisonn Amour: Thanks for the positive thoughts. Looks like it might still happen. Keep thinking them.

@Rob: Heading west this time.

@athens: Thanks! You, too!

You are right!! You go when you want to go!!

@gayle: I've heard from him since this post. He says he just wishes I could get there sooner. I've decided I WILL take myself to Hawaii whether I get to see him or not. (I'm hoping I do.)
