Hands that Built America

It's early fall, there's a cloud on the New York skyline

Innocence, dragged across a yellow line

Irish, Chinese, German, Russian,
Black, White, Brown, Red,
Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Hindu...

...They've all made significant contributions to our nation as we know it.  As we remember that awful day 10 years ago, let's not allow a handful of radical, evil men destroy what they created with their sweat and blood.  This is not a day to preach hatred and endorse discrimination.  This is a day to stand together.

Thank you. If we respond in kind to evil and hatred, the terrorists will have won.

It would be great if people from all backgrounds could foster mutual respect for one another and join together to make the world beter through the exchange of ideas that are peaceful and noble.

Jen started this blog when she was making a fresh start in life. It appears that her transformation is complete, and the bird has flown her nest.
