Starting with the Kitchen

My daughter is constantly cooking with too high temperatures and using metal utensils on my nonstick cookware.  Well, she can have the pots and pans she ruined.  I found a Bed Bath and Beyond near my new home and started stocking the kitchen.  I got all of this for $49.99.  Is it top of the line?  No.  Will it cook my food?  Yes.

I've been using the same knives since 1995 (at least).  The same electric can opener, too.  I think it's time to replace them.  I found 3 knives with sheaves for $9.99.  I also bought a manual can opener, plus various other kitchen gadgets.

Next paycheck - bathroom!

You're off to a good start! I like the glass bowls.

I've used a manual can-opener for years. I don't like the electric kinds.

Do top-of-the-line cookware actually cook better than normal cookware? :o)

Hi Jen,
This was fun. I think you did well.

My name is Shanae and I just took over the 400 Fitness Challenge for Ellie. I am excited to get to know you. I am looking forward to having you check in with your miles. Don't worry ... you have until next Friday to check in for this week.

I am changing things just a little. It is always easier to stay motivated if you know you have a supportive group behind you. I would like to turn this Fitness Challenge into a supportive group to help people stay motivated, so I am going to do what G-man does for writers on his Flash 55 blog posts. I will post my miles and a fitness question on Saturdays. Please write a post answering the fitness challenge question or let us know how your week went and then leave me a comment so I know you are ready for a visit. I will visit everyone who leaves me a comment. You can also visit as many other participants as you can.

Click here to let me hear from you.

Cheers,
Shanae

Good job--but aren't you used to cooking in a tin can with sterno on hikes? LOL

Good to see you my friend. Pray all is well!

Big Hugs,
