Facebook Creeps

Wyoming and I are actually getting along very well now.  He's talking about spending as much time as possible with me during my initial visit next week and wanting me to move in with him if all goes well.  He's not talking just as friends, either.  He's using the words "relationship" and "couple".  *gasp*  Apparently, he couldn't wrap his head around the distance issue.  When he found out I was considering a move, his attitude changed.  I'm trying not to ruin it by starting another fight involving Facebook.

He's back on Facebook but I'm no longer his friend.  He deleted me when we were fighting.  Yes, I sent a request.  I'm more than a little annoyed because that girl that moved in with them for 3 days and they kicked her out is still on his friend list.  I hate myself for being so jealous.  It's just Facebook.  I can't think of much that would be dumber to fight over.  I like all of you guys, but you're not invited to my Facebook page.  I really can understand not adding someone you found on the internet until you get more than 3 hours together in real life.  So why does it feel like a slap in the face?

Should I insist that he add me if I do end up moving in?  I want that relationship status to say "in a relationship" with ME!

I don't want to be guilty of the behavior in today's video, though.  Plus, I've got a blog that I don't let anyone read...

I guess we all think we're so damn cool that everyone would love to have us as a friend... HEY, what do you mean, we're not invited?!!! LOL

Who knows what his motive is, but it would worry me just a bit as well. Try not to obsess though, you'll be there soon enough and then you'll see for yourself.

FB was set up by some teenage twonk and has exactly the same emotional responses designed into it of every quarter developed teen. And while we were all teen at one point or another. And can when with a glass or two of vino or a gut full of hormones revert back to this sort of thinking. It is best to see it for what it is regardless how it's dressed up these days.
Further, unless you have the dexterity of a Frost, a Homer or a Twain with language. And can pack into a text a Haiku full of clear emotion, it might be as well to steer clear of that medium of communication when attempting a relationship.
I think there comes a point where a letter is you man for the job. Starting with a typed version and after a while something in longhand.

Ugh FB. I love my best friend because of FB drama. How sad is that?

I understand how you're feeling. Just take it one day at a time and let it happen when it's supposed to.

I only use FB now for chatting with random people...It is so much safer than the drama you get into with family members and friends...

It seems to me that if you become a relationship that he will not only want to be your FB friend, but that he will ALSO list that he's in a relationship with you :-)) Glad things seem to be moving in a positive direction!! Just stopping by to check in on you and to say "hi!" ~Janine XO

Geez. Makes me glad I don't do FB.

Just take things slowly, Jen. Don't make any rash decisions.

not to laugh at your misery but I'm laughing because we've all been there. I love facebook but at the same time, it makes your crazy go crazy when it comes to stuff like this!!! Here's my advice... just stop fretting about it for now see what happens if you move in and go from there!!! Don't let the crazy get the best of you (I'm not saying you're crazy, I just mean the girl side)

I would agree with Miss Caitilin! Love the video though. It's great to see how far you have come with your blog. I hadn't looked at it for ages but you certainly got me hooked in!
