2 Down, 8 to Go

Not mine.  Mine are not very pretty at the moment.

It's sandal season again and I'm missing 2 toenails. They finally fell off a few days ago. Actually, it's an improvement. There are already some tiny new ones growing back in. They don't look nearly as disgusting as the yellowish blobs that fell off or the two grey/black/purple ones that are still hanging in there.

I don't usually paint my toenails but I may have to start this year. Think if I paint where my toenails used to be, anyone will notice?

Last night my daughter asked me if I would go check the mail and see if her contacts arrived. I handed her the key and said she could go herself.

"I'm afraid to go out there at night," she said. "Will you go?"

"No. I'll check in the morning if you don't want to go tonight."

"But my dad is going to get mad because he wants to know now if my contacts are here yet."

That man does not have any control over what I do and when I do it. I am not going to check the mail so the idiot doesn't get mad...

That's me with Shinedown.  I don't have 3 chins or demon eyes...I hate this picture except for the fact that it's SHINEDOWN.

It is confirmed that the Zach Myers who has been emailing me is actually the guitarist for Shinedown.  I always kinda wonder if those profiles are fake.  On Facebook, he asked who was going to be in Bossier City and I posted that I would be the tiny redhead at the meet and greet.  A few hours later I logged in to find an email stating his weakness for redheads.  He walked up to me backstage and made another redhead comment.  "Guys in bands like redheads...you can't be saying stuff like that..."  Is Zach Myers flirting with me?  Too bad he's damned near 15 years younger than me and very committed to his girlfriend.  What an ego boost...I needed one of those.

I'll come back and post more soon.  And I'll reply to comments.  Thank you guys so much for still being here.  It's been a rough few weeks.
