400 Mile Fitness Challenge 2011

 
Most people make their new year's resolutions to get in shape and start exercising in January, then stop by March.  I tend to sit around and vegetate during January because the weather is usually miserable.  Yes, I know Texas is warm and toasty compared to New England and I don't care.  I want my 80 degree days back!

I always feel better when I'm fit, though, and have found something in blogland to help motivate me.  The challenge will run through December 31, 2011.  I have to log 400 miles before then.  It's still January, so it's totally doable.  Walking counts!  Who'll join me?  Click the button for details.

What a fun challenge! And here I just join reading challenges.... where I sit on my behind and get NO exercise!

I'm an old lady and always seem to have some type of foot/leg/hip issue, but will give it a try. At my current exercise level, I would only accumulate about 360 miles before the end of the year and would have had to start at the beginning of January to make 400, but I'll do what I can. I live in Dallas and miss our 80 degree days, too!
