If leaving flyers on doors didn't bring in new customers, I wouldn't find so many on mine. I'll start with my apartment complex and then move on to the rest of the neighborhood. I bought new ink just for printing these so I'll know exactly how much it's costing. We'll see if it's worth the effort...

As you know avon folks are dedicated. My wife uses only a couple things, but she would use nothing else. ?She only buys about three or four times a year, but if she had someone notify her who was nearby she would save the phone # or address.

Yes, it is nothing more than a numbers game. The more of those flyers you put out the more calls back you will have.
And it might be little harm if you offered to the girls at the local high schools a free class or two on the basics. The ad could run something like this. "Tired of Dad saying you look like a hooker. Learn how to put on the slap* with Jen. Mo 7-8pm @ Austin Hall, LBJ High".
The thing is you do 'not' sell to them, but a little investment on them would be golden with their mothers and aunts.
* slap is the London UK word for make-up. So insert the local slang word for make up.

If I could get the lipstick I had from Avon in the same shade I would buy it in a minute. I think it was called Rose.
I was wanting to buy Fergies perfume...I did not know anyone who sold Avon but now I do...Cool!
