My apartment management company is doing their annual inspection tomorrow and I'm supposed to take everything out from under the kitchen and bathroom sinks so they can check for leaks. I don't want to. My allergies have made me miserable all day. I think it's allergies. My face hurts. I don't see any pine pollen...maybe I have a summer cold.
Do they really need to come in? Can't I just tell them I checked and there is no leak? I know how to change my own AC filter and smoke detector batteries. If I feel like this tomorrow I'm not going to be in the mood for company. Maybe I'll hang a quarantine sign and refuse to answer the door...
This is why I hated living in an apartment. A quarantine sign may work!!!
ReplyDeletesmiles. hope you feel better...
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry. this would really suck. I'm so compliant I would do what they wanted but moan and groan to myself the whole time. It seems rather redundant for them to do it; it would be so much better if they had you guys check for leaks
ReplyDeletehope you feel better soon
betty
When my face hurts, it's sinus. Ever tried a neti pot?
ReplyDeleteGood Luck!!

Don't worry, things will definitely get better for you!
ReplyDeleteI suspect the inspection has to do with insurance rather than any real search for issues. Sooooooo, it might be as well to allow them in, you do not want to be the target of a class action of those under you if a pipe leaks.
ReplyDeleteOn the allergy, Last year I discovered that milk and milk products were a major issue with me.
Oh... Sorry to hear that. I hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteI hope you're feeling better...
ReplyDeleteBad mood huh? Not a good time to move the stuff from under the sinks.
ReplyDeleteQuarintine sign? not a bad idea!
Sounds like you have enough on your plate. Not good having to move things from cupboards, you never know what you'll find - leak or otherwise.
ReplyDeleteHope all goes well.
I'm feeling much better today. Thanks for all your well wishes. That's why I have liability insurance, Vince. I've never tried a neti pot, but I've heard of them.
ReplyDeleteYOU'RE HIDING SOMETHING, LOL !
ReplyDeleteGlad to know that you feel better,
ReplyDeletecheers!
You Deserve Happiness!
Hope you told them you were sick and now hope you feel better!!
ReplyDeleteWhy would someone lie if they had a leak? Honestly, they should take your word for it!
ReplyDeleteHope you had a good inspection. My parents work their butts off when those inspections come up. Horrible! Get better soon!
